"Thank you so much for all the positive feedback, it really does help. I was really nervous submitting my first assignment and journal entries. Wasn't really sure if I was doing it right, especially the journal entry. I have to admit thought that the journal entries are an extremely useful tool as they sort of force you to think about the things you've just learned and help put them into perspective. I found it also helped with getting me ready for this course. I thought about so many things, while writing my journal entry, that I probably would not have thought of otherwise.

Another thing which kind of surprised me, is that, after not logging on to the website all weekend, I was really excited to log on this morning. It surprised me that even though I just started the success course, I had time to miss it during the weekend. You have such a well organized course layout, I couldn't wait to keep going with it."

"Hi, My name is Erica, and I am in the middle of MOP.

I am thoroughly enjoying the course and the module so far. There is so much to learn, but the info is presented in such an accessible format with situation-based examples that make the concepts easier to grasp. I believe I told my instructor that it should be called "Common Sense for the Health Office Professional", because everything is laid out in such a straightforward (yet not "dumbed down") manner. I really think that the author knows her stuff and had provided a really good resource for us to learn from.

Which of your CD-ED skills do you use most in your work?

"Preparation in Excel spreadsheets, letters for clients. All my administrative procedures course comes in handy, every day. I do filing quite a bit so my filing course was an excellent way to help me.

I was treated very well at CD-ED. Any concerns I would have were always attended to and all the staff were very helpful in making me understand things I couldn't figure out myself. I had seen commercials on TV and decided I need to do something like that. Also I had just gotten a job for Manulife Financial and this was a way to move up in my company.

The highlight most definitely was accomplishing everything I had worked hard for.

I just want to thank everybody involved with CD-ED for helping me make it through, even at the worst of times. I would also like to say that you have a real life angel working with you every day and her name is Sandy Johnston.

"I really like the program. I have no complaints actually with the program. I really like that I don't have to sit in a classroom to educate myself. I love being able to work on the program at my own speed and my own time. I like that I am able to be at home with my children and continue my education. The fact that the tests can be saved without submitting is a great feature because with the kids I am always having to stop and do something for them, so that is awesome for me. I am really enjoying the program."
